“It’s been a successful albeit busy year for the City which has seen a range of exciting festivals, events and programs take shape in 2018,” City of Parramatta Lord Mayor Cr Andrew Wilson said.

“Parramatta New Year’s Eve is the perfect time for the community to come together and celebrate the successes of the past year while looking toward the year ahead. I look forward to seeing everyone come down with their loved ones for what promises to be an unforgettable evening in Parramatta Park as we say goodbye to 2018.”

“New Year’s Eve is one of the largest events that we hold in the Park and a highlight in the Crescent Summer Series. With its picturesque grounds, heritage-listed buildings and short walking-distance from Parramatta and Westmead Stations, it’s Western Sydney’s favourite place to come together and the perfect venue to watch the end of year fireworks display,” she said.
