Parramatta set to host ultimate New Year’s Eve celebration

WHAT: Parramatta New Year’s Eve celebration

WHEN: Monday, 31 December, 4pm-9pm. Main stage program commences at 6pm with 9pm fireworks.

WHERE: Parramatta Park, Parramatta

City of Parramatta is set to farewell 2018 with a spectacular New Year’s Eve celebration in the World Heritage-listed Parramatta Park.

The evening’s festivities will feature an amazing line-up of free family entertainment, live music, amusement rides and delicious food across four activation areas, before lighting up the night sky with a heart-stopping fireworks finale at 9pm.

Highlights include:

  • Classic tunes, including live performance by Sydney Jazz Orchestra
  • Hotel Transylvania and SplashDance (ABC Kids) performance and ‘meet and greet’
  • MC Monica Trapaga (formerly of Play School)
  • Roaming entertainers, including Empress Stiltdance, Penny Farthing Unicycle & Juggling, Circus Solarus (Samba trio), and Vintage Circus Duo (stiltwalkers)
  • Amusement rides
  • Delicious food, including Black Iron Smokers, Korean BBQ, dumplings and sweet treats
  • Fireworks Spectacular – 9pm
