Synopsis: ”˜Neerja’ is a biopic and a cinematic representation of the dramatic events that unfolded on September 5th, 1986 when Pan Am Flight 73 from Bombay to New York was hijacked in transit at Jinnah International Airport in Karachi by Palestinian extremists from Abu Nidal’s terrorist outfit. This is the story of Neerja Bhanot, a 23 year old part time model, who was the head purser on the flight. Neerja had escaped an abusive marriage at a very young age and as a life change, decided to become an air hostess, subsequently impressing everyone so much that they made her a purser. Throughout the horrifying situation, Neerja didn’t succumb to her fears and instead she fought her personal demons from the past and from the minute the plane was hijacked, through the terrifying 17 hours to the grueling end, she used her courage, wits and compassion to make sure that the passengers were protected, going as far as to hiding the passports of the American passengers. Through her swift thinking and brave actions, she managed to save the lives of 359 passengers and crew on board out of 379, all at the cost of her own life.

Neerja was hailed internationally as ”˜the heroine of the hijack’ and posthumously became the youngest recipient of India’s highest civilian honour for bravery, the Ashoka Chakra and was bestowed the Flight Safety Foundation Heroism award by U.S.A, Tamgha ”“e- Insaaniyat (awarded for showing incredible human kindness) by Pakistan, Justice for Crimes Award by United States Attorney’s office for the district of Columbia, Special Courage Award by the U.S. government and the Indian Civil Aviation Ministry’s Award. This is a portrayal of Neerja’s strength, courage and sacrifice and an attempt to bring before the world this lesser known Indian hero’s story, so that she becomes an example and inspiration to young girls all over for generations to come. ”˜Neerja’ is produced by Fox Star Studios and co-produced by Bling Unplugged and has been directed by the celebrated ad film director Ram Madhvani. Sonam Kapoor is playing the role of the young brave heart and adding to the cast is veteran and internationally renowned actress, Shabana Azmi,   playing the role of Neerja’s mother.

Synopsis: Ajay Mehra (from previous Ghayal-1990), after finishing off his life sentence, starts a newspaper called Satyakam. Still dealing with the haunting trauma of losing his loved ones, Ajay manages to make a credible name for himself in investigative journalism. Working with a strange team of RTI activists, ex-criminals and ilk; and even stranger ways of unearthing & presenting truth, Ajay Mehra has earned quite a fan following among the youths, who finds his fearless & unforgiving approach in dealing with all kinds of sociopaths very inspiring.

Among his diehard fans are these four teenagers who happened to have received bravery medals from him once. These four friends once out on photography expedition; accidentally record a murder on a camera. The footage turns out to be explosive as it clearly shows two of the city’s most powerful peoples involved in the murder.

Well what happens after this is a series of twist and turns where the four kids get entangled and have to fight it out with the most powerful man of the city, will Ajay Mehra be able to save them? Will the kids be successful in their mission to stand by the truth only time will tell!

Synopsis: This story follows a young Kashmiri boy Noor, his muse Firdaus and a mercurial Begum, through love lost and realized over the course of two generations. Thirteen-year-old Noor, an impressionable Shikara boy living by the piers of Kashmir’s Dal Lake, is lured into the world of the Begum – the wealthiest woman in town.

Young Noor falls in love with the Begum’s daughter, Firdaus – a beautiful child who has been raised to break hearts. Suffering from a broken heart herself, the Begum finds her mark in Noor. Noor begins to obsess over Firdaus, someone who belongs to a world completely different from his.

Seasons change and Noor leaves his hometown to move to the city of Delhi to build his career as an artist. He strives to be accepted into the sophisticated social circles that Firdaus is a part of in a quest to win her love, while the Begum plots retribution on their young and innocent love.
